Japanese Magazine Review

My Favorite Magazines are described below, along with pictures of some of the recent covers so you can get a better idea of what they look like.  I like to look at/attempt to read Japanese magazines because they offer so many examples of stylish clothes for each month.  It's different from Western magazines, which are less practical.
You can find many of their webpages on my links page.
Also, you can buy these magazines at Kinkuniya bookstore, in Seattle's International District.

MORE is a magazine for women from ages 18-30.  The styles are both for working women and casual women.  This magazine covers topics such as clothing (handbags, shoes, jeans, shirts, sweaters, etc.), sex, relationships, and health.  It features two main models who illustrate casual and OL wear. (OL, that's office lady).  I like the model on the cover of the left magazine.   Her name is Shiho. She's very cute and popular and has her own section of the magazines webpage.

CanCam is one of the coolest magazines, and features clothing especially for career women and college students.  Louis Vuitton and Gucci are frequently given special sections to display their handbags.  But CanCam also covers casual fashion, health, relationships, and reviews great vacation spots around Japan.

Non-no is not taboo.  It's perhaps my second favorite magazine, after MORE.  It's focus is on casual wear for teens and twenty-somethings, without the feel of a high-school magazine.  Non-no also focuses on shoes and handbags, jeans, and shirts.  More uniquely, Non-no also includes a special section in the back of the magazine on apartment styles.  Non-no doesn't focus on designer labels like the other magazines, which makes it a really practical mag to read.

I only just read this --> with, but I like it.  It seems a little bit like MORE.  I think it's for women in their twenties, and shows lots more office wear and "snappy casual" wear than other magazines. I'll write more as I read later issues.
